Submission Guidelines

Submission Guidelines

•  APA formatting as outlined in the current Style Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA)
•  Maximum 25 double-spaced pages (excluding references & appendices)
•  Times New Roman 12-point font
•  No headers or footers except for page numbers
•  Endnotes rather than footnotes
•  Email your paper to the editors as a word document
•  In the email message, include your contact information and a 50-word biography.
•  Also indicate the submission area: Pedagogy, Analysis, Use, or Processes (Papers with a cross-disciplinary focus should indicate this by listing multiple submission areas)

Formatting Style Guide

      Basic Formatting

  • Submission Title: CAPITALS, bold, line space before and after; followed by author(s)’ name(s) and institutional affiliation; combined title-subtitle is limited to 18 words
  • Primary Headings: CAPITALS, bold, line space before and after heading
  • Subheadings: Title Case, bolditalics, line space before but not after subheading
  • Supra-Subheadings: Title Case, regular, italics, no line space before/after-only carriage return
  • Abstract: 12 pt. Times New Roman, italics, 2 inch margins left & right, single-spaced
  • Body: 12 pt. Times New Roman, double spaced, 1 inch margins all sides, full-justification
  • Citation: All references should be cited APA format; use endnotes in lieu of footnotes
  • Figures & Tables: Titled as Fig./Table #.# ( in italics ), in numerical order (of mention within text) with a space above and below. The title should be left aligned; inserted figure/table should be centered.
